Since Christians should believe that a God of love that knew a person in the womb would never put a person in the wrong body, this means Christians should believe that mental health professionals can help a that person. Since the “Reducing Transgender Imbalance Act” will encourage athletes with transgender imbalance to see mental health professionals it can be considered a compassionate law. In my opinion anything that encourages these individuals to visit a mental health professional is compassionate. As a Christian I agree that God would rarely put a person in the wrong body.
Whatever group put this website together is definitely pushing this law as well as a couple of books. If you watch the videos on the “Reducing Transgender Imbalance Act” it does enforce a concept called “States Rights.” In my opinion this is the most compassionate way to handle the issue. I do believe my Christian beliefs are the correct beliefs but one of those beliefs is to make the arguments I believe that Jesus would want me to make and let others decide what they believe. One of my biggest gripes against the “other side” is that they always want to use the Supreme Court or the federal government to push their beliefs on me. Though it is tempting to want a federal law to push my beliefs on those who, in my opinion, are hurting others by pushing this whole “transgender” thing, this law is a fair way to handle the issue of athletes with “Transgender Imbalance.” It would probably open a conversation to ask this question so i am going to go with it is a good question to ask someone that comes to a Christian Church looking for answers.
